The problem

Critical information should not wait for the next shift change.

Developing intelligence often gets split across email, text messages, roll-call binders, radio traffic, and conversations that never reach the next shift. Guardian Rollcall gives the department one operational feed for information that needs to move now — and remain available later.

Core capabilities

Built for how a department actually shares information.

Real-time department feed

Share intelligence bulletins, case updates, daily reports, COMPSTAT information, and other operational updates through department-defined channels.

Structured BOLOs

Publish the identifiers officers need at a glance — subject, vehicle, last-known location, caution information, status, and expiration. Mark a BOLO located or expired without losing its history.

Photos and documents from the field

Attach photos, PDFs, and documents to the original post, or add new evidence in a comment as the situation develops.

Required acknowledgements

Flag important posts for acknowledgement and give authorized supervisors a receipt showing who has reviewed the information.

Priority notifications

Send priority BOLO and direct-message notifications to supported devices so urgent information can reach personnel even when the application is closed.

Secure, role-scoped access

Keep information inside the appropriate department or division. Capabilities determine who can read, publish, manage users, review acknowledgements, see analytics, or export records.

Direct collaboration

Continue a bulletin in comments, message an authorized colleague directly, and keep related photos and documents with the conversation.

Shift digest and analytics

Give personnel a concise briefing grounded in the department’s own Rollcall posts, while command staff review activity, engagement, BOLO status, acknowledgements, and time-to-located trends.

How it works

Publish. Deliver. Develop. Account.

Publish

An authorized member creates a bulletin or structured BOLO and adds the available photos or documents.

Deliver

Guardian Rollcall places the information in the right department feed and sends priority notifications when required.

Develop

Personnel add observations, photos, documents, and status changes to the same operational thread.

Account

Supervisors review acknowledgement and activity records without losing the original post or its revision history.

Positioning

Familiar enough to use immediately. Purpose-built for police work.

Guardian Rollcall uses the familiar interaction pattern of a modern feed while maintaining department-defined channels, structured BOLOs, role-scoped access, acknowledgement records, and durable operational history.

It is one module of the Guardian platform. A department can begin with Rollcall for internal information sharing and add Switchboard, Community, Check-In, Callout, Exam, or other Guardian capabilities as its needs grow.

FAQ

Guardian Rollcall — answered.

Is Guardian Rollcall a public social network?

No. It is an internal, access-controlled workspace for authorized department personnel. Membership, division access, and management capabilities are controlled by the agency.

Can officers use it from a phone?

Yes. Rollcall is designed for desktop and mobile use, including posts, BOLOs, comments, acknowledgements, notifications, photos, and documents.

Can supervisors confirm that personnel reviewed a BOLO?

Yes. Authorized users can require acknowledgement and review acknowledgement receipts.

What happens when information changes?

Personnel can add updates and attachments to the thread, while authorized users update BOLO status. The operational history remains available rather than being replaced by a new disconnected message.

Does Rollcall replace CAD or records management?

No. Guardian Rollcall is an internal information-sharing and operational-awareness layer. Integration or records-retention requirements should be scoped with each agency rather than assumed.
